COVID-19 UPDATE:

Diane Erdmann RN BSN IBCLC of Breastfeeding Support & Supplies of
Omaha has resumed doing in-person, one-on-one lactation
consultations. Diane wears a mask and gloves after using good
handwashing technique. Her office and baby scale are sanitized before
and after seeing moms and babies. Moms and dads or support persons
also need to wear a mask during lactation consultations. Diane will get
the mom and baby’s history on the phone before the consultation in
order to minimize time exposure during the consultation.

Diane continues to submit breastpump claims to insurances and
Nebraska Medicaid. When the mom picks up her breastpump, Diane
will take the breastpump out of the box and show the mom how to use
her breastpump and answer her breastfeeding questions. Again, both
the mom and Diane will be wearing a mask. If she prefers just to have
the breastpump handed to her at the door, that is also an option.

Sincerely,
Diane Erdmann RN BSN IBCLC
